Lisa is board certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.  She has practiced Family Law for over 20 years and is licensed practice law in both Louisiana and Texas.

She graduated from Louisiana State University in 1998 with a degree in Business Administration. She earned her Juris Doctorate degree at Louisiana State University in 1993.  Lisa is very involved in the Texas State Bar Family Law section and serves as a director for that organization.  She has been the program director for several state wide continuing legal education Family Law seminars for lawyers and is a frequent speaker at such seminars.  She has earned several awards including Texas Super Lawyer in Texas Monthly Magazine and Top Attorney - Family Law in Fort Worth Texas Magazine.

Lisa was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana and moved to Louisiana in her senior year of high school.  In her spare time Lisa enjoys reading fiction, traveling and taking walks with her dog.  She is a lover of animals and volunteers for causes helping animals. The charity Don't Forget to Feed Me is one of the animal causes she is passionate about.  She served as president on that board in 2016.
